Job Description

Anesthetist shall follow the Policies and procedures for uniform resuscitation services throughout the organization. Anesthetist shall follow pre and post operative patient management. Shall use the policy on use of sedation. Shall monitor the patient vitals throughout the surgical procedure Shall ensure PAC fitness before preparing the patient for procedure  

Chief local administrative and clinical head of the unit. All in-house resident doctors, nursing supervisor and staff technicians, paramedics and housekeeping staff directly report to him. Major clinical monitoring and therapeutic decisions to be taken by him / communicated to him; in consultation and accordance with treating Consultant Incharge. Major work force for implementation of all monitoring and therapeutic decisions laid by consultants. Prime responsibility is to monitor and manage all clinical aspects of patient care.
