JOB DESCRIPTION OF HEAD – Human Resource

  1. Providing Strategic leadership
  2. Providing functional leadership to HR managers in individual businesses, who will have a matrix reporting relationship to their business heads as well as to this position.
  3. Manpower planning for current and new businesses
  4. Recruitment and selection of key vacancies and helping individual businesses on other vacancies
  5. Training in different functions
  6. Developing HR process on targets setting, performance management and appraisals, rewards systems, standardization of grades and bands structures and HR administration like leave, appointment letters, individual files, and disciplinary action etc.
  7. Developing and executing management development plans for key managers
  8. Articulating and enforcing code of ethics in the organization.
  9. External interface to build company as an attractive employer brand
  10. Helping the undersigned in assimilation of newly acquired businesses in India.
  11. Helping the CEO/MD  in regular business reviews as a part of the corporate team
  12. Developing and circulating HR MIS to the board
  13. Restructuring & compensation benchmarking exercise.
